Georgia Cancer Center - Integrated Genomics Shared Resources

Overview of Services

The GCC Integrated Genomics Core provides state-of-the-art infrastructure and technical expertise to support investigators in molecular, cellular, and spatial biology. The core offers integrated, end-to-end solutions encom-passing sample preparation, library construction, high-throughput sequencing, and spatial transcriptomics, en-abling high-quality, reproducible data generation across a wide range of applications

We offer extraction of high-quality DNA and RNA from diverse sample types, supported by automated workflows that improve reproducibility and efficiency. Advanced single-cell and multiomic platforms, including Chromium X and BD Rhapsody, enable applications such as scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, immune profiling, epigenetics and combined transcriptomic and proteomic analyses. Library preparation and quality control are performed using established technologies to ensure high-quality, sequencing-ready samples. Spatial transcriptomics capabilities, including CosMx SMI and Visium, allow high-resolution mapping of gene expression within tissue architecture. High-throughput sequencing is supported by the NovaSeq 6000 platform, enabling rapid generation of large-scale datasets. In addition, the core provides computational support, training, and consultation to assist investigators with experimental design and data interpretation.

Please cite or acknowledge the use of Georgia Cancer Center - Integrated Genomics Shared Resources (RRID: SCR_026483) in your publications!

Research Resource Identifiers (#RRID) are ID numbers assigned to help authors identify all key biological resources including core facilities, support the proper citation and authentication of each resource, and enable the FAIR sharing of resource information. RRIDs are part of the MDAR checklist, a pan-publisher rigor and transparency checklist created and endorsed by major publishers. RRIDs are also part of the NISO JATS standard, the journal article tagging suite
