The Integrated Genomics Shared Resource in the Georgia Cancer Center offers a wide range of services, beginning with sample preparation that includes nucleic acid isolation from various types of cell tissues, both fresh and frozen, as well as fixed cells or tissues. We also provide library preparation services and perform next-generation sequencing (NGS) for bulk sequencing of DNA/RNA and single-cell/nuclei sequencing. For single-cell studies, we are equipped with the Chromium X system from 10X Genomics. This cutting-edge system offers highly optimized approaches for single-cell research, enabling low and high throughput experiments such as scRNA-seq, snATAC-seq, and Multiome analysis. These techniques allow for the investigation of cell population differences and cellular evolutionary relationships in various types of cells and tissues. Our sequencing capabilities include the Illumina Novaseq6000 and NextSeq 500.
Our Core staff is proficient in a variety of experiments, including library preparation for different DNA samples (ChIP-seq) and RNA-Seq, including ultra-low input methods. We offer an extensive selection of single-cell analysis using the 10X Genomics kit, including single-cell (3' chemistry), single nuclei (3' ATAC chemistry), ImmuneSeq (TCR and BCR 5' chemistry), targeted sequencing (CITE-Seq), and Multiome gene expression + transcription factor (3' + ATAC chemistry). Furthermore, we are prepared to explore and test new technologies based on specific requests.
